On March 12th the award ceremony for “Employers who Advance Women” - employers who both advance women employees and also provide appropriate working conditions for women, took place in the Knesset. The ceremony was organized by IWN deputy Chair Batsheva Schtrauchler who is also the coordinator of the steering committee for the prize. For the year 2006 the winners were: in the public Sector: The Ministry of Health, in the Local Authorities Sector: Local Council Shoham, In the Industrial Sector: Teva Pharmaceuticals, and in the Commercial Sector: Mashkar – machine vendors of soft drinks.
