On March 20th we held a conference together with the Israel Bar Association - Tel-Aviv District on the subject of “Women, Equality and Legislation”. The conference was organized by Batsheva Schtrauchler and Advocate Sigal Hendsher Farkash – the Chair of the Committee for the Advancement of Women Lawyers at the Tel-Aviv District of the Israel Bar Association. After welcoming remarks from the Head of the Tel Aviv District – Advocate Ilan Bombach and the Chair of IWN Rina Bar-Tal, the speakers were Prof. Dafna Barak Erez from the Tel-Aviv University Faculty of Law, Member of Knesset Gideon Sahar – the Chair of the Knesset Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women and Advocate Tziona Koenig-Yair – former Head of the Legal Department at IWN.
