The Nemesh Program ends (another) rewarding year 18/08/2007
During the past few months some 270 groups successfully graduated the Nemesh program designed to change the attitudes and approaches to gender equality of 10th and 11th graders. Young women and men that participate in the program undergo significant experiences that influence the forming of their gender identity and their understanding of the relationships between women and men. We hope to continue and guide them in the future. This year seven pilot groups for young men in the Arab education were initiated, as well as two pilot groups for young women in junior high in the city of Holon. In Holon, Ramat Hasharon and Kfar Kasem the end of the program was marked in especially exciting final events organized by the different municipalities. The events included the students' performances, guest performances and panels.
