The Leadership and Co-existence course began in the area around the Kinneret on June 22nd. Approximately 30 Jewish and Arab women are participating in the course, which takes place alternatively between Nazareth and Kibbutz Degania. This course is being carried out in conjunction with Na’amat in Nazereth, the Tze’ela Organization and the Adenauer Foundation.
The culmination ceremony of the leadership course in Nahef took place on July 6th. The 15 female community leaders who participated in the program described the effect the training has had on their lives. The head of El Jana, an organization that works to promote women in Nahef, a representative of the Adenauer foundation, and IWN CEO Advocate Avital Shachar, all spoke at the event
